HOW TO SEW A BUTTON

STEP 1

Grab a needle, thread that matches your garment, and your button.

STEP 2

Thread your needle. To make sure you have enough thread, cut it at about arm’s length. Double up on the thread for durability.

STEP 3

With your thread and needle, create a knot at the mark your made at the button’s new location.

STEP 4

Put the needle through the button’s hole and start sewing in and out of the fabric a few times.

STEP 5

To secure your button, create one last knot by tying it off like in Step 3 and cutting off any excess thread.
