In these six portraits, the baby was posed on her stomach with her arms resting on the higher back ridge of the Boppy pillow. By adjusting her arms in stages, I was able to create a variety of cute poses—ultimately resulting in the middle left pose in which she is balancing her head up on her elbows.

In these five portraits, the two base poses are very similar. The first pose in the upper right and middle right images is easily changed to the second pose by gently repositioning the baby’s legs. All five portraits can be photographed in a matter of about five minutes with a cooperative and sleepy baby.
