Chapter 12

The club had just let out and the girls were hungry. So they decided to head to a Ihop. Raeya and Chinaa were riding together. While Simone followed behind them. Raeya was still buzzing from the last couple of drinks that she had tossed back. Needless to say she was feeling good. On the drive over she noticed how Chinaa had a goofy grin on her face. Before she disappeared with Monte, she was looking pretty upset, but now something was different. Raeya sat there giving her the side eye.

Chinaa felt Raeya, staring so she turned the music down, before looking at a grinning Raeya and saying, “Why are you smiling at me like that?”

“The same reason why you’re sitting there with that goofy grin on your face. You finally had sex with Monte.”

Chinaa blushed before laughing. “You pay too much attention.”

“No, you’re just giving yourself away.”

“That noticeable?”

“Yeah, and the limp in your walk makes it worse,” Raeya said as she busted out laughing. Watching Chinaa’s mouth form into an O was funny as hell.

“Shut up, Rae. Didn’t nobody bust you out when Kyler was doing you in his office.”

Raeya covered her mouth. How does she know about that? Raeya thought.

It was now Chinaa’s turn to laugh.

“Whatever, Chi. Any who how did that even go down? Especially after all that happened tonight.”

Chinaa was now shaking her head, “I honestly don’t know. Because I’m still feeling fucked about the situation. Like one minute I’m regretting taking it there with him. Then the next I think about what he did to me. God what he did to me outta be against the law,” Chinaa said as she fanned herself.

Raeya laughed before saying, “That’s exactly how I feel about Ky. I’ve been trying to steer clear of him. Because he makes me lose common sense. That’s why when all of the bullshit has taken place. I don’t say anything. Because I know that he is just lookin for way in. And I’m honestIy scared to let him back in.”

Chinaa pulled into the parking lot, parking the car. Before asking, “Why are you scared.”

“Because I like Ky a lot. I mean like a lot a lot. But the way he acts is just too inconsistent. I can’t open up again. And then he do me. Like he did the last time.”

“Has he expressed his feelings to you?”

“He told me that the loves me. But still he’s too bipolar. You saw how he was looking at me crazy. The only reason he stopped was because Simone said something.”

“Yeah I feel the same way with Monte. Only he’s not bipolar like Kyler.”

Simone knocking on the window got their attention. She had a bad habit of doing that.

“What I tell you about knockin’ on my damn window?” Chinaa said as her and Raeya got out of the car.

“Stop making me wait. Y’all see all of these mfs pulling up? Let’s go and get us a table hell,” Simone fussed.

Raeya and Chinaa both shook their heads before they all headed inside.
