Keep your body strong (arms, core, legs, and neck) as you allow your body to âcollapseâ into the roll.
Once youâre comfortable, you can start jumping into the dive roll from a standing position.
Kick your leg back as you jump to help get your hips over.
As you hit the ground, absorb some of the impact with your arms by keeping them strong while allowing them to collapse. Use your arms to ensure you get over your head.
Use the momentum to flow onto your back and into the roll.
Next try it with a short run up, and then try jumping off with two feet.
Slowly progress until you are doing a full dive roll.
Dive and stretch out like a cat.
