Chapter Eleven

Dante

“Do you know why you’re here?” I asked Valentina as she was bound and kneeling in front of me.

“Because I disrespected you, sir.”

“I thought you had known us well enough by now. I thought you would have realized how important it is to ask before offering our home to someone. Was I ignorant, Ragazzina, or were you disobedient?”

She opened her mouth, then closed it. I could tell she was confused about her punishment and I wanted her to tell me why.

“I was disobedient, sir.”

“Is there something you’d like to ask?”

She raised her head slightly and met my gaze. “I thought I’d be punished for taking Nico’s gun.”

“No. But you will need to learn a certain decorum when interacting with other families. We all understand you were upset over Nico’s situation, so I will let that go. This time. But in the future, you can not just threaten whoever you’d like.”

Nico let out a grunt from where he was watching. I’m sure he’d love to have our little girl running all over town fighting our battles with us, but there was no way I’d let that happen. Tonight was the first night she’d have us all, and she was already on edge. Her body was covered in goosebumps as I ran a riding crop across her shoulders.

“Tonight I will let you choose your punishment. Stand up.”

Even with her arms bound behind her, she stood gracefully. I placed the crop down on the table I had set up and untied her hands. “Come with me.”

She followed just a step behind me and her eyes went wide when she got a clear look at the table in front of her.

“These are the toys we have for you. Tonight, you will begin deciding parts of our scenes. We can set new perimeters every time or there can be certain things you can choose that you never want to do. One thing that will not be tolerated is adding anything new to a scene once we have already started.” The way she looked up at me, absorbing every word I had to say, made her even more tempting. I pointed to the table and explained some of what was there. “Floggers vary in intensity. This one for instance, is made from a thick heavy rubber. The impact is very hard. It feels more like a thud than a sting. This is a snake whip, it stings. Much like this cane, or even my riding crop.”

“What’s that?”

“It’s called a Dragon’s Tail. It’s loud but doesn’t hurt much. The noisier the toy, the less the impact. It’s the quiet ones that are more intense.”

Valentina ran her hand over each of them, inspecting and considering what I had shared. She picked up a leather flogger and ran it over her palm, smiling at the sensation. Then she moved on to the cane. It was a bamboo cane with a black handle. She turned it in her hand a few times before looking back at me.

“I would be fine with any of these.
