Chapter Twelve

“You’re going to accept her here. As a slave. To train her for your own pleasure. Are you telling me no one’s paying you?”

Cy forked another piece of bacon into his mouth and chewed slowly, his expression was as unreadable as always. Anton leaned back in the chair and waited. He knew better than to push him.

“I have my reasons.” Cy glanced up briefly. “If I do decide to take her it would be because she has the strength to survive me.”

“What the fuck, Cy? For five years, you showed no interest in any woman, in or out of the BDSM lifestyle. All because of that bitch you’ve got downstairs. Hate and vengeance is what drove you. You’ve barely started with her and now you’re ready to commit to a slave?”

“I don’t need to explain myself to you, Anton,” Cy snapped and then sighed at the surprised look on his face. He’d never treated him with the same coldness as those he trained. “That might have been true in the beginning but I’ve come to realize it was merely the conduit I needed to release the dark beast inside me. I’ve denied for too long that inherently, I’m a sadist. That’s the real reason I started this place. Keira’s deceit was the perfect reason to justify the awakening of the beast inside me.”

“You might be a hard trainer, Cy, but you’ve got a good heart. I see that every time you’ve reformed a slave and return them to their owners. They all come to love you in the end.”

“Love?” Cy scoffed. “Hardly, but I do believe they leave here with some level of respect for me and the choice of lifestyle they made. If nothing else, they come to realize how much worse off they could be if they didn’t truly understand or submit to being a slave.”

“But a vanilla? This woman made it clear she’s not into BDSM.”

“Once they accept the submissive inside them, they usually make the best slaves, Anton.” He took another bite, chewed and swallowed before he continued. It was time to direct the attention away from Leigh. He had his reasons for pushing her last night and openly accepting her offer to be his slave but no one needed to know. Not yet, at any rate. “Don’t make the mistake of thinking I’m done with Keira, though. I will finish her training.” He took a sip of his latte and studied the expression on Anton’s face. “Why the surprise?”

“To be honest, I thought once you’ve worked out your hatred and rage, you’d make her see you still are the best man for her and take her back.”

“That was never an option, Anton, and it never will be. It’s strange, but now that I’ve got her under my control, I’ve come to realize that I have no desire for her as a sub, even less as a slave. Yes, she’s still as hot as fuck and I don’t deny I lust after her but there’s no love, no emotions left inside me for her.
