You may have noticed that our URLs are ugly. For instance, our listings look something like this:

http://www.example.com/node/13

We want them to look more like this:

http://www.example.com/listings/yellow-beach-house

This is better for search engine optimization (SEO). It also looks more professional.

You can manually add paths using what's built into Drupal. But we want to have these paths generated for us automatically.

Luckily, there's a free community module called Pathauto available that we can use. Start by visiting the Pathauto project page: https://www.drupal.org/project/pathauto. If you read through this page, you'll notice there are two requirements: Token and CTools.
