CHAPTER TEN
The Perceived Contradiction
“You must learn to trust what you feel and ignore what you see.”
SPIRIT
The Perceived Contradiction is when you feel one thing and you see another. It’s a sense of knowing that you have about a situation, but when you look out into the world it appears to be just the opposite of what you feel. This is definitely the stage when you need to be patient and trust your intuition. Know that things are changing for the better, no matter what they appear to be at the moment.
This stage comes as you are traversing your Highway of Change, as you go through periods of spiritual growth in your quest for higher vibrational levels. The Perceived Contradiction becomes stronger at a specific point in your journey because you begin to think that you should be able to see your materialization by now. The important part is that you can feel it – the peace and joy that will accompany it when it arrives. This is a challenge, no doubt about it. The challenge is in keeping the faith and keeping your eye on the goal, while everything around you is showing you something completely different. It’s a time when positive affirmations and other spiritual tools will be of great help in making it through. You are forced to call on your inner strength and knowing. This is where you have no outer proof that you have succeeded in manifesting your desire. On the contrary, you are given every evidence that it has not happened yet and you can begin to lose faith in its eventual appearance. But here is where you must remember that there is a delay between the vibrational world and the physical world of manifestation. Spirit says that this is the point where the delay is felt most.
What you are seeing on the physical plane is the manifestation of old thoughts and beliefs. It is actually the past. By the time you can see anything, it has already happened vibrationally. We think that when we look out into the world we are seeing the present, but the present is only felt, not seen. By the time it is seen, it is old news. Remember the first two chapters in this book, review them again if necessary. There is a delay in the materialization of thought. If contemplated long enough, the thought will eventually manifest in your life. So you only see old thought patterns, once anything is visible.
If you are a person who has not developed your intuitive abilities, this chapter may not make sense to you. But if you continue to grow spiritually it will become very clear in a short period of time. For all those who are in touch with their “knowing” this will be an inspiration. You will know exactly what I’m talking about, especially if you use other spiritual tools to confirm the energy that surrounds a specific subject. Those tools will confirm what you are feeling, but not seeing, and that should give you a sense of peace about the subject.
