Travis took Lois out to look at houses, without Charlie. He wanted to talk to Lois.

As they walked along side-by-side, he glanced at her and she had a smile on her face.

He continued to walk slowly. “Lois, we need to talk. I know you attacked Charlie. I won’t put up with it. Charlie has asked me not to fire you but I will and damned the agreement we have about the business. I’ll see you in jail and the business ownership will be moot at that point.”

Her eyebrows became slashes and her eyes narrowed so much they almost closed. “She said she wouldn’t tell you. You’re just upset because her beauty is marred—”

“Charlie didn’t tell me. You just did. I was only guessing before. What I said stands. Now, I believe you can find your own home. You have the money and you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of the house you live in. I’m headed home to my wife, who will always be beautiful to me.”
