CHAPTER 11: BOSTON

For so long, I've been fighting the urge to make shit right with Giselle, but I didn't know how to freely do that. Not after the way I had handled her in the first place. It took for me to fall back and really think about what the fuck had happened. Giselle has never had a mean bone in her body. So, without a doubt, I know that my mother had indeed provoked her. Still, it hurt me because I love my mother. Outside of her fucked up ways, I know she loved me, and I don't care how anyone else views it. However, I know I love Giselle more than anything in this world. Being without her is no longer an option. She's been through more than enough at the hands of the Rich family. It's time she gets the life that she has been deprived of.

When Bronx came and told me everything Shakura told him, I knew I had to just let everything go. Plus, my daughter had also been very verbal with me in regard to why I wasn't her mother's boyfriend anymore. Baby Boston has a way with words that will have you thinking like a motherfucker. Deciding to cook dinner for Giselle was all her idea. I'm glad I listened to her because Giselle is loving everything about the evening. I just hope she continues to enjoy herself after listening to all the fuck shit Pedro had been saying to my mother. The secrets and lies our parents have been keeping are so fucked up. It's a wonder any of us have lasted this long.

My father and uncle found out Marilyn was behind the car bomb through a good friend of the family. She had purchased the bomb from him, not realizing he and my uncle were good friends. I didn't divulge that I knew that already. Plans are in the works to murk Marilyn, and I didn't want to say that to Giselle. I'm not keeping a secret from her. I'm just protecting her from the inevitable. It's a good thing she knows her mother is going to get herself killed.

One may think I would be happy Marilyn is going to get murked due to what Giselle did to my mother. However, that's the furthest from the truth. Her mother has fucked up ways, just like Charlotte. At the end of the day, she's still Giselle's mother. Giselle walks around like the issue with her parents doesn't affect her. However, I know they do. That, combined with my added stress and bullshit, things have got to get better for my baby. She's been through more than enough.

As Giselle sat across from me, she had no idea what I had in store for her. A nigga was excited as fuck to tell her, but I had to hold out a little longer. When I said I would make shit right, I meant that shit. I'm no longer letting the bullshit keep us from being together.
