Sitting behind the desk in her office with her phone in her hand, Jordynn’s nostril flared as she stared at the numerous messages she had sent Adonis through Instagram over the course of the week. He had seen every message she had sent and didn't reply to any of them. After the wonderful time they had on their vacation along with the dope dick he had given her, Jordynn was almost certain that she would’ve heard from him by then. She thought that he might’ve been busy or he wanted to wait a few days until he reached out to her but to not hit her up at all had ole girl hot. She couldn't believe that Adonis played her ass to the left like that as soon as they got back to the states. The way Jordynn was feeling, she didn't know whether to chalk the experience up as a loss or confront his ass about it. If the dick was trash, she probably would’ve forgotten about him. Adonis had blessed her with some of the best D she had in a while and she wasn't going to let him get away from her that easily.

Placing her phone down on her desk, she rubbed the temples of her forehead to ease the headache that she felt creeping in. Between the argument that happened in her shop, Kano blowing up her phone twenty times a day, and constantly thinking about Adonis, Jordynn was a little stressed out but she was dealing with it the best she could. She thought that the drama that went down in her salon would cause her loyal clients to go astray but they didn’t. It seemed like she was getting more walk-ins throughout the week than anything else which was keeping her busy when Jordynn wasn’t tending to her regular clients. She was grateful that she had gotten more clients even if it was due to negative exposure. As her thoughts lingered to Kano and his new found interest in her, her phone started ringing on her desk. Thinking it was Kano, she was about to send him to voicemail until she saw that it was her cousin, Cannon, calling her. Snatching up her phone, she quickly answered.

“Hey cuz,” Jordynn cheerfully greeted. “Wassup with you?”

“Nothing much, girl. I ain’t heard from you since you got back from yo trip,” he stated. “You good?”

“Yeah. I’m straight,” she half lied. “I’ve just been busy since I’ve been back. Seems like all of my clients needed to get right at the same time and I’ve been dealing with walk-ins since two of my stylists are out sick.” Jordynn sighed. “So things have been a little crazy.”

“I swear you gotta be the hardest working woman in our family. Well…out of the family we fuck with.” Cannon chuckled and so did she.

“Right,” she agreed. “What are you up to these days? Still standing on the block?”

“Of course,” he answered with cockiness. “I be posted up in Center Hill now from sunup to sundown.
