You’re excited to have seen the creature that could be the mysterious chupacabra. More often than not, you never see the monsters you search for. So getting actual photos is something to be excited about.

Once you have everything packed up, you hop on the ATV and head back to meet with Rita. You find her at the house of one of Juan’s neighbors. She’s looking at some paw prints around a chicken coop.

“Find anything interesting?” you ask.

“Nah,” she says. “Just some paw prints. Probably a stray dog. You?”

You tell her about the photos you took, and you see the excitement light up her eyes.

“We have to post them!” she says.

Unfortunately, when you look at the photos none of them clearly show the beast. There were too many trees and bushes to get a clear view. But the creature seems to resemble many of the descriptions you’ve read about chupacabras. It’s a hairless, doglike creature. While your photos don’t prove that chupacabras are real, they do show that something mysterious is lurking in the wild.
