Chapter 8

Gone

The way he was looking at her was heating her up from the inside out. It didn’t look like she would ever stop wanting him or ever have her fill of him. It was beginning to be clear they were mates regardless of his denial before or the way the pain he had caused her made her want to deny it. She was starting to believe he had truly come to terms with them being together forever.

It was hard not to doubt his intentions after what had happened before, but he was putting forth a monumental effort. Part of her wondered if he wanted her now because she was wolf and no longer human. That was probably true and part of her resented that he hadn’t been willing to suffer for her love. She knew a mixed mating would have been tough, but others did it. The best example being Ariel and Blake. Sure, she changed, but he didn’t know she would.

She and Cage would never have that I would have loved you no matter what kind of relationship. If he ever told her he would have, she wouldn’t believe him. The past would always be there like a ghost between them.

Candi wouldn’t think of that right now because he was touching her, and it felt so good. He ran his tongue and his mouth down her neck kissing, nipping, and licking. She moaned her approval moving her hands up to his shoulders. He moved his under her arms holding her tight as he swung her onto his lap facing him. It felt good as she slid over his slick wet skin as he positioned her above so his length would slowly impale her. She knew they both felt the uncontrollable need to join quickly. Candi was going crazy with need as he filled her inch by inch. When they were fully joined, they both moaned with pleasure.

“You feel so good wrapped around me.” He whispered in her ear before he sucked her earlobe into his mouth nipping it lightly then releasing it. His hands wrapped around her hips, so he started helping her move. She was rocking against him squeezing him so tightly with her sheath that he felt giddy with passion.

“Yes, Cage, just a little faster.” She said encouraging him.

He lifted his hips faster as he pulled her hips against him harder. Cage could sense her nearing bliss even as he felt his body reaching for it too. Her scream of pure pleasure in his ear sent him over as wave after wave rolled over him. He jerked against her until his passion was emptied, but it wouldn’t be long before he wanted her again.

“Sorry I didn’t give you more foreplay. I just felt too much need for you, and I couldn’t help myself.”

“Eating was foreplay for me. I needed you too and I didn’t want to wait any longer. I don’t know what is going to happen between us, but it’s too hard to fight this attraction we have.
