Angelina had an example of her own. "I have a brain throb to tell you about," she began. "She's Marie Casey, out of St. Louis. She's one of the jewels. Because of the way she is with people, her communications company is busy. And Marie got frustrated because she had this new side business, involving corporate histories, that she just couldn't find time to work on.

"Exasperated, she complained of that frustration to a consultant who was trying to help her organize her life. To Marie, it was an impossible problem because she wanted to make her life simpler, not add another new business. The consultant said:

"Why not ask your employees for help?"

So Marie decided to do just that. And her employees were delighted to help her. They told her to work at home one day a week and they'd cover for her. And now she's starting the new project and loving it."

Max started to respond, but Angelina quickly said, "Wait! I have one more thing. Marie told me that having the consultant ask questions like `Is that decision in alignment with what you want from life?' has prompted her to start asking her staff tough questions. Every month she has a meeting and asks her employees, `What have you learned?' Isn't that a scary-great question to know you're going to be asked every month?"

"Scary-great is right," I answered. "But it would fit in with growing a big sexy brain."

"Absolutely," Max agreed. "And I want to talk to this consultant. Can you get her name?"

"Sure. I met her. She's Jan Torrisi-Mokwa. I have her card at home."
