Start the footside edge at G, leave out two pairs for a plait with a picot to H, and work a windmill crossing with the plait from the trail. Continue working the footside and the plaited ground. Work windmill crossings at I and J, and at K cloth stitch the trail worker through the plait pairs, place the pin and return to the trail. Work plaits from I, J and K, followed by windmill crossings and tallies to L and M. Complete the plaited ground to N and O. Then work the trail taking in tallies and plaits on the right, and on the left leaving out pairs to work plaits and picots to complete one repeat.
