Cognitive computing
Cognitive computing is a self-learning system that uses machine-learning techniques to perform specific human-related tasks intelligently. This technology helps to create automated IT models that are capable of solving problems without human assistance.
The result is cognitive computing, which is a combination of computer science and cognitive science. Cognitive computing models provide a roadmap to achieve AI. Let us see the flow of cognitive computing in the following figure:

Cognitive computing is a collaboration of humans and computers to magnify human reason and insight. To extract useful data, cognitive computing systems must be able to learn, iterate, adapt, interact with people, be responsive to them, and understand the information in the correct context.
These abilities allow computers to understand queries raised by humans, suggest answers, and refine those answers from human response and input. The following diagram illustrates the architecture of the neural network used in cognitive computing:
