Chapter 19: New Responsibilities

During the following month, I immerse myself in my role as a husband, cherishing the time spent with my wives and forging deeper connections with each of them. It brings me immense joy to witness the bonds forming between them, as well as the friendships that evolve beyond our own relationships.

I observe how Eva, my stepmothers, Nicole and Kate, become close friends, finding common ground and solace in each other's company. It warms my heart to see them enjoying moments together, sharing conversations and sipping tea amidst the serene beauty of our gardens. Their friendship adds another layer of harmony to our family.

Dakota and Elle, find companionship in Emily and Evelyn, forming their own special bond. They engage in lively discussions, exchange stories, and support each other through their unique roles within our family. It brings me comfort knowing that they have found friendship and understanding amongst themselves.

Kaya, the daughter of Chief General Roesia, stands out among my wives with her magical abilities. As someone skilled in combat and trained in the use of magic, she shares her expertise and trains alongside my sisters, Karla and Alexandra. Together, they engage in training sessions, honing their skills and fostering a camaraderie based on their shared passion.

Throughout this month, I strive to give each of my wives the attention and affection they deserve. We spend quality time together as a group, engaging in activities and conversations that strengthen our bond as a family. Simultaneously, I make sure to set aside moments for individual connections, cherishing the unique dynamics and connections I have with each of them.

I also make sure to dedicate some time to my own training and personal growth. Additionally, my speed has reached 180, allowing me to move with greater swiftness and agility. My visual perception has also improved to 176, enhancing my ability to perceive and analyze my surroundings. Finally, my dexterity has risen to 171, displaying an improvement in my coordination and precision.

While the progress may be incremental, I find satisfaction in knowing that I have maintained my commitment to self-improvement, even amidst the joyous chaos of our new family dynamic.

A month after our wedding, my father summons me to the meeting hall. Upon entering, I see him seated alongside his royal ministers and advisors. Chief General Roesia and Duke Alson, my fathers-in-law, are also present. I respectfully greet my father and then acknowledge the others in the room. "Come, son, we have important matters to discuss," my father beckons me to stand beside him.

General Roesia resumes the discussion, explaining the gravity of the situation in the north.
