ARTICULATING EEF’S CORE DNA

Around this time Corey led the elders in writing a “Covenant Community” handbook outlining the church’s core DNA. They articulated four key values:

Local embodiment (being the church of Jesus in and for a particular neighborhood)

Diversity and reconciliation (seeking ethnic and cultural reconciliation because such reconciliation was “one of the central themes of the entire biblical narrative”)

Networking with the broader church (connecting with existing churches and ministries advancing community flourishing)
