Yardage based on 42˝ (107cm) usable WOF.*

IKAT FABRIC OR FEATURE FABRIC: ¾ yard (70cm) each of red, dark blue, orange, purple, yellow, and light blue fabrics or a total of 4½ yards (4.2m) for diamond blocks

SHOT COTTONS: 2½ yards (2.3m) total of light and dark solid fabrics (equal amount of lights and darks—I used 19 different colors, some of which I used as both light and dark, depending on the combination: white, gray, beige, pale lavender, gold, light pink, yellow-green, fuchsia, brown, teal, bright pink, dark red, dark brown, navy, plum, dark lavender, rust, purple, dark orange, and purple) for triangle sashing strips

BACKING: 4⅛ yards (3.8m)

BINDING: ⅝ yard (60cm)

BATTING: 72˝ × 78˝ (185cm × 200cm)

TOOLS:

•60° diamond template for 12˝-high finished diamond

•60° triangle ruler for 6˝-high finished triangle

•60° Strip Ruler for Triangles (by Creative Grids)

•Alternatively, use template plastic to make templates from patterns (http://tinyurl.com/11036-patterns).
