The neon green bus wails its horn,

charging through traffic in the pounding rain.

It’s a beast exploding puddles

past dense, fogged forests

that wind down the mountains,

with the descending road

wrapping quickly around sharp turns,

the raging jumble of heavy metal on wheels

rocks breathlessly down.

Inside, packed passengers are soaked by rain

leaking through windows and roof,

as the bus rushes on, unstoppable.
