I'm glad that Hakim and Paige are, at least, on speaking terms. She told me what happened when he came over. I hope that she's being careful, because both of those niggas want her and will do anything to keep her.

"Hey babe, you good?" Eric asked, when he walked into the room.

"Yea. I was just thinking about Paige and all the shit she's been through, and now both of these dudes are going crazy over her."

"I know. She must be doing something to them. I spoke to Mark, and he ready to marry her ass. I know he has had that crush on her for years, but damn."

"Who do you think she should stay with?"

"Man, Hope, I don't even know to tell you the truth. Hakim, is a good dude; he just keeps fucking up. Then, Mark is my nigga, who I grew up with, but he just lost Lana, too. I don't want this to be some shit where he's only feeling this way because of it." I shook my head.

"I hope Mark is really in it for the right reasons, too. It seems like he is genuinely in love with her, but only time will tell."

I stood up and he pulled me back down on his lap. "I love you Hope, and I'm glad you decided to keep our baby."

"Eric, I didn't really want to get rid of it. I was just scared, and I thought you weren't ready. I didn't want to take a chance of you leaving me."

"I would never leave you. I've waited so long for you, so there's no way in hell I’m letting you go."

I jumped in the shower to get ready to go to the movies with Paige, while Eric laid on the bed watching TV. I thought I heard someone banging on the door followed by yelling. I hurried to wash up, threw my towel on, and jumped out the shower. He was still in the same spot I left him, so I figured that it was the show he had on. We got back from the movies after ten, and Eric was asleep on the couch.

Today was the baby shower, and Paige wanted to have it at a hotel since she was throwing it. The theme was Minnie Mouse, because that’s what I wanted. Eric wanted me to move in with him, so that we could be close, but I just wasn’t ready. I, damn near, lived with him, anyway. I just wasn’t ready to give up my place yet. Eric has been acting very funny and distant lately. I hope he doesn’t act shitty during my shower.

I went to the bathroom, and I felt this pain in my pussy for the last week or so, but I pushed it off as a UTI. The doctor said I could get them a lot since I’m pregnant. I threw on a black maternity dress with some Uggz, did my hair and makeup, and was ready to go. When we pulled up, there were so many cars and people.
