The drive to Ky’s house wasn’t bad, but I was ready to get there so I could count this money and shower. I pulled into his driveway and counted up my earnings for the two hours I waitressed. And damn, I must say I made bank. I had a total of five thousand dollars, which is more than I made the first time I waitressed one of these meetings.

Walking into Ky’s house, the smell of burnt food hit me instantly. I turned my nose up and hurried to the guest room which was now mine.

“Don’t run now hoe, look at this damn pan and burnt up ass roast. Yo non cookin’ ass betta stay out my damn kitchen, or we both gone be homeless,” Ky yelled as I was turning on the shower to get in.

Removing my clothes, I got in and let the hot water settle on my body as I slowly adjusted to the temperature. Thoughts of Preece entered my mind, and I hoped like hell he got my number.

I washed my body and exited the shower just as Ky came barging in.

“Really,” I screamed, grabbing my towel.

“Girl, you ain’t got nothin’ I want,” he admitted, standing in the doorway letting all the warm air out.

“You just couldn’t wait until I got dressed?” I quizzed, looking at this fool standing here waiting for me.

“Nope, it’s some sexy ass nigga waitin’ for you in the living room. And you could let yo pussy cool off before you go tryna feed it to somebody else. You and yo damn sister,” he mumbled walking off. I’m not sure what Jas had to do with anything, but whatever.

I threw on some boy shorts, a tank top and wrapped my hair in a bun before walking out to the living room. I could tell just by looking at the back of his head that it was Preece.

“Hey, how did you find me?” I asked softly.

“My brother told me you were out here spazzin’ on the guy from the club earlier,” he retorted, walking over to me, looking me up and down.

“Yea, that,” I responded, slightly embarrassed but not really because Dame had me fucked all the way up.

“I’m sure it’s weird, but I had to stop by so we could make proper introductions, and to ask you out on a date; seeing as we keep missin’ the opportunity for me to do so.” This man here had me ready to push him on the couch and take him for a ride, I thought.

“Is that a no,” he asked. I’m guessing my small pause gave him the assumption I wasn’t interested, but if he only knew.

“No, I mean yes, to your question,” I laughed because I was having trouble getting my head out of the gutter.

“Cool, do you have anything planned tomorrow and what’s your name?”

“No, I’m free and tomorrow will be perfect. I’m Thyri and you’re Preece, right?”

“Correct,” he smiled, showing off his sexy ass dimples. I flashed him a smile of my own as he continued.
