For as long as I can remember, I have always been the type of nigga to get whatever it was that I wanted. Whether it was the job or the girl, I was going to get whatever it was I set out to get. Not only did I have the perseverance of a soldier, but I was a boss ass nigga. All my life, I worked hard to get where I was now. Hell, all my brothers did.
We grew up in the city of Bogotá, which was the capital of Colombia. With a population of about seven million people, my family was fortunate enough to be considered wealthy. My grandfather had been the sitting head of the Colombian Cartel, passing it down to my father, who took over the entire country. My brothers and I never wanted for anything when we were younger. My mother, who was barely around, made sure that we had the best nannies and school teachers, helping us to become more efficient in our studies.
By four years old, my brother and I were bilingual speaking Spanish, English, and Creole. I was thankful for learning independence at a young age, because at nine years old, my parents were murdered in cold blood leaving the four of us behind to run the familyâs million dollar empire.
Jego, who was the oldest of us, was made head of the table with Carlos, Mu, and myself under his direction. He taught me and my brothers everything we needed to know about the drug game. By fifteen, I was sitting in on meetings with different drug lords from across the world handing them keys to distribute. See, everyone was selling drugs where I was from, but not everyone had pure Colombian cocaine. Not like us. We used that knowledge to our advantage making an even bigger legacy than my father had.
When I turned eighteen, Jego arranged for us to move to the U.S. and set up shop. I was the third oldest, so by this time, Jego and Mu were really making some serious moves. In no time, we had become the plug in Jersey, New York, Delaware, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. They decided that, since I was of legal age, I could start to have more responsibility doing transactions alone. For a few years, my role had been doing drops to prospective buyers and clients. I was a young, rich nigga making too much money to spend living in the states; what more could I ask for?
It didnât take long for me to slip up after running recklessly for so long. I got my ex Mina pregnant, making me switch shit up a little bit wanting more out of life.My daughter wasnât going to see the shit I had saw; I wanted her to have better. And sure enough, before she blessed her mother and I with her presence, I had a degree in Business under my belt.
Mina and I had only stayed together for a few months before we broke up and went our separate ways.
