After the incident with Mink, I found myself in front of the hospital, debating if I was going in to see Savior or not. The indecisiveness that was going on between them in my head was stressing me the hell out. Besides that, I knew it was wrong. I had never been in a predicament where I was feeling two men, let alone doing anything with them. I felt like a whore with the way I was jumping back and forth, so I had to make up my mind, and fast.

Reluctantly, I got out and made my way to his room. While doing so, I was going over what I liked about them both, and what even attracted me to them in the first place. None of which were helping me come to a decision. I didn’t see how men did shit like this on the regular because it was not the fucking move. When I thought about it, I might have been better off getting rid of both their asses versus trying to choose.

As I got closer to Savior’s room, I heard laughter coming way out into the hall, causing my stomach to drop. I knew without a doubt that it was the girl my brother was speaking of, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go inside for fear of how I would react. I took a deep breath before knocking on his door a few times then peeked my head inside.

Their laughter quickly ceased as they both stared at me like I didn’t belong. That shit had my heart beating crazily as I grew nervous about how this was about to play out. Finally, Savior waved me in as he hit the button to lift his bed. I took a moment to look him over, and even though he was scruffy as hell, he still looked sexy. The overgrowth of his beard and little afro coming out had him looking even more thuggish, although those hazels and freckles I loved still gave him that pretty factor.

“How you feeling?” I asked to break the ice.

“I’m holding up. What about you?”

“Good.” I bit the side of my lips while twiddling my thumbs. As we looked into each other’s eyes, I didn’t see that spark they usually held for me, and that made me nervous. “I know I haven’t been here in a while. I was going through some things,” I explained, and he nodded.

“Yeah, my sister told me about that. Sorry for your loss. I know our situation was crazy, but I would have never wished that on her, and I know that was your best friend. I tried to check up on you, but you know.”

“Yeah,” I replied, knowing that I had been ignoring all his calls and texts, which I regretted at this moment.

Our vibe didn’t feel the same, and I had a feeling that I had pushed him away with how I'd been acting. I was sure he had all kinds of scenarios going through
