“They really look just like you.” Porscha smiled at the twins as they ran around the park with the rest of their siblings. She couldn’t believe that she was just meeting the twins even though Tahj had known about them since January. She couldn’t say she was completely shocked. She barely got to see the grandkids she’d been knowing about.

“I know, huh?” Tahj smiled proudly. “They got a little bit of their mom in them though.”

“Hmmm, I’ve seen her on Instagram. I don’t see it.”

“You saw her on Instagram. How?” Tahj questioned. The last time he checked Star only had a business page that featured her work.

“That daughter of mine be posting her on her stories and tagging her. They seem to be close. Can’t even fuck with her own mama but can deal with a whole stranger. Isn’t that crazy?”

“Nah, not really.”

“Really Tahj?”

“Really, ma. We not gonna sit up here and pretend like Mia doesn’t have good reasons for cutting you off. On top of that, Star ain’t no damn stranger. She’s the twins' mom. Them being close is a no brainer.”

“Well she ain’t close to Nikka and Lexi like that.”

“She tried to be for the sake of her nieces and nephew. She stopped fucking with them because of the drama.”

“Yea and I’m sure you were the cause of it.”

“I don’t know about that. Nikka and Lexi had justified reasons to be mad at me, not my sisters.”

“Well I’m not talking about those other girls. I’m talking about the one me and ya daddy made.”

“Mama, I don’t care what you talking about. Chill out before I take my kids and dip.” He asserted. This is why he spent very little time around his mother. She was always so negative and it was draining.

“Boy you so damn sensitive. I don’t know who you get that shit from. But back to Nikka…”

Tahj looked to the sky in agony because it was apparent she was about to beat a dead horse.

“She says you got that new baby mama of yours living with you. You and her together now?”

“Ma, you been knew Star was living with me because you called my house starting shit with her.”

Porscha gasped and threw her hand over chest. “Lies! I did not! I was calling for you and she got smart.”

“Whatever, mama. I’m not about to go back and forth about that. But nah, me and Star not together. We just cohabitating for now.”

“Boy who you fooling? You Tarrell’s son. Sometimes I feel like I should have gone ahead and made you a Junior.”

“Glad you didn’t,”he muttered. “But I don’t even know why you bringing him up. I can admit I have some of his ways, but I prefer not to be compared to that man.”

“And why is that?”

“Because I actually take care of my kids.”

“What?! Now your daddy may be a whore but he was a terrific provider and a great father to you and your sister.”

Tahj released dry laughter. “So just fuck his other kids, right? As a matter of fact, don’t answer that.
