Get Ready: Planning the User’s Experience of Your App
In the previous section, we tell you how to obtain the RSS feed from the Formula 1 website and introduce you to the design of the application. In this section, we build the user interface, write the code to download the RSS feed and use it in the application, and test it.
Building the user interface
Follow these steps to create your new project in Visual Studio:
1. Open Visual Studio, and select File⇒New⇒Project.
The New Project dialog box appears.
2. Click Silverlight for Windows Phone in the left column and then select the Windows Phone Databound Application template.
3. Name your project Formula1News (see Figure 10-2).
