Luna

We were at the mall shopping when Waleed’s mom called and said the cops came to her house and said he was in an accident. They couldn’t get in his phone, so they went to the address on his license. I have no idea why he still had his moms on it but who knows what goes on in his head? Khloe drove because my head was all over the place with bad thoughts. If I got behind the wheel, it ain’t no telling if we’d be in rooms next to him.

“Excuse me. My husband was brought in not too long ago by the ambulance.” I said to the secretary at the reception desk.

“Ok. What’s his name?” I gave her his information and she told me what room he was in. Khloe and Raina were right behind me.

I went to the back and my eyes had to be playing tricks on me because Dirty Dora was standing outside his room, speaking to the doctor. Did she know he was here? When the bitch looked at me, something about the smirk on her face told me she was up to no good. Instead of addressing her, I moved past them and went straight in Waleed’s room. His mom was sitting next to him and he was asleep. She said he hit someone from behind and hit his head either the window or steering wheel. When he got out the car, he fell on the ground and almost hit it again but someone broke his fall. He had a concussion and some bruising on his face, otherwise he was fine.

“Hello everyone.” I turned and Dirty Dora was standing there grinning.

“Why are you here?” I asked and made my way to where she was.

“Oh, I was checking on our man.”

“Our man? Am I missing something?”

“Obviously you are. What, you think because he put a baby in you he’s faithful?”

“Dora, I’m not about to let you get me upset over your obsession with him. I will ask you to remove yourself from this room before I help you.”

“This is a hospital. You have no jurisdiction on who can come here.”

“She may not but I know for a fact my boy don’t want you here. Especially; starting shit with his wife.” Risky said and she backed up.

“Your husband is a good driver; wouldn’t you say Luna?”

“Yea he is but what does that have to do with you?”

“Maybe you should ask what he was doing to crash?” She winked and basically skipped her way out.

“What is she talking about Risky?”

“I have no idea. Don’t let that bitch get under your skin.” He hugged me and we all went back in the room. Khloe and I looked at one another. Dora was tryna tell me something and we both knew it. I wasn’t gonna worry about it because what goes on in the dark will surely come out in the light.

After about an hour, the doctor came in and said they were admitting him. They wanted to do a MRI and it was gonna take an hour, plus they needed him to stay for observation.
