Border is a line drawn around the content and padding of an element. By default the border has a size of 0 and making it invisible. We can set the thickness, style and colour of the border to make it appear. The border property syntax is width of the border, then its style, followed by its color. Also we can specify the border property individually.

Also border can be set for one side:- border-top, border-bottom, border-right, border-left
border-style : dotted , dashed , solid , double , groove , ridge , inset , outset , none , hidden
