Chapter Nine

Reyna wandered the corridors of the ship rather aimlessly, realizing that not having anyone to witness your nudity took a lot of the oomph out of going naked. Now she was feeling defeated because Hale didn’t toss her over a shoulder and carry her away. She was also cold; her nipples pebbled tightly against the cool air moving over her skin.

Hearing a sound behind her in the corridor, she turned to see her hunter as naked as she, looking irritated and fully aroused.

Hope leapt in her breast as she giggled and turned to run.

“Do not run from me, mate!” Hale bellowed as he caught her before she could take three steps. Instead of carrying her to their rooms, he turned to press her naked back against the cool silvered wall of the ship.

Tears swam in her eyes as she looked up at him with her heart in her eyes, a hand reaching up to stroke the side of his face. “My hunter.”

Some of the frustration and anger left his face as his countenance softened. “My Reyna, do you truly believe I no longer want you?”

She swallowed hard. “You no longer take me hard and wild. It’s like your need for me perished when I fell from the falls.”

“I am being careful with you, mate! I will not risk hurting you or aggravating a healing injury.”

“I’m fully recovered!” she protested.

“The doctor said light activity, light and yes, that we could resume relations but he didn’t say I could use your beautiful body hard glutting myself until the aching need for you that fills my every minute is satisfied,” Hale said hoarsely.

Images of Hale doing just that in every position possible filled her mind as she stared up at him and shivered. ”Yes, please.”

“No,” he said firmly with a hint of exasperation in his voice. “I love you, my Reyna. I can’t live without you and I will not risk your health for selfish reasons.”

She let her head fall back against the wall in a thud at the colossal stubbornness of her mate. “But I need you, Hale.”

“And you will have me… but it will be on my terms, little mate,” he told her firmly as he leaned into her body, pinning her against the cool wall.

Reyna’s head came up as his hands ran down her sides to hook under her knees, then he lifted her high as he spread her open with her wet slit posed right in front of his mouth.

She clutched his head at the sensation of being so high against the wall with Hale staring at her spread nether lips and all the secrets resting between. Suddenly she thought of Cherma and looked a little nervously down the hall. “Cherma?”

Hale chuckled. “If you were worried about putting on a show, my Reyna, you shouldn’t have run around my ship naked.”

He held her in place with ease as she shifted uncomfortably when he continued to just stare at her open pussy. She ached to have his mouth on her but he just stood there as her impatience grew.
