There are, of course, also some minimum hardware requirements for pool mining.

Basically, you should have a working computer. The performance data of HDD/SSD, CPU and RAM do not play a major role in this. The performance data of the graphics card (s) are decisive. Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum is not used over the CPU but on the GPU. The graphics card should have at least 3GB of RAM, and the computer should have a powerful power supply because the graphics card (s) are very much at their performance limits.
