With his foot to the pedal Sayeed sped away from Brianna’s house while looking in the rear view mirror, checking to see if Kiss had popped out. When he realized she hadn’t he relaxed in his seat knowing that he made the best decision. He wanted to handle Laila alone. He felt like he was the one to have brought her in their lives and he needed to be the one to take her out.

While he felt bad that he deceived Kiss, he knew that Wynter would’ve appreciated it. He knew that Wynter didn’t approve of his choices and his past but he was built this way. He had a killer’s instinct, and even though he tried to suppress it by starting a legit business, it always reared it’s ugly head. Especially when it was time to defend someone he loved.

Maybe one day Wynter would understand his past and why he made the choices that he made. But he couldn’t convince her today. He loved her and wanted to be with her so that they could raise their child in a happy loving environment. He prayed she came around and accepted him for all he was.

He started doing hits to help take care of his siblings and then the money became too good to deny. There was a part of him that was sad that he had to leave his son with his brother for the day. He hated that they’ve already lost so much time and now that he finally had him he was out running the streets trying to kill the boys’ mother.

He vowed that once this entire ordeal with Laila was complete that he would put his entire focus on his son. That included buying a new house because the penthouse wasn’t appropriate for a small child. He wanted Qadir to have space to run around. Therefore he wanted a house with a playground and a pool, perfect for entertaining his children. He also wanted to build a nursery for his baby with Wynter.

This killing life was getting old. As he drove to his next destination he thought about how much death he had been involved in. From Keith, to his Mama and Uncle Nickel. Now Laila. He almost felt like giving up on taking out Marshall Brooks. He figured he had already gotten enough revenge by becoming super successful despite what Marshall did to destroy his family.
