CHAPTER 14 FREEDOM

Waking up the next morning, I waited for Phantom to come downstairs so we could talk. This shit was already out of hand and I refused to go back to those days. That nigga was losing his mind and I could tell he was on a slow fall to pyschoville last night.

I never expected him to come down with Zaria on his hip. How in the fuck did these two end up making up last night? Shaking my head, I knew it would have to wait until later. Laci came upstairs, and we were ready to go.

“Where are we going and who is the target?” Zaria ass was starting to act like she was about this life and this was her shit. Ignoring her, I headed towards the door.

“Just a few niggas that think they don’t have to pay me my money.”

“How you gone get the money if you kill them?” At least she had sense. I been saying this shit to the nigga for years. His ass didn’t give a fuck. He didn’t give second chances and that was that.

“It’s not about the money. I have money and lots of it. The fact that he thinks he doesn’t have to pay it shows lack of respect. Everyone knows I don’t tolerate that shit. Now once we get in the car, the talking stops, I have to get myself in the right mind. Are we clear?” The girls were looking confused and I laughed. They had no idea what the fuck was about to happen.

Jumping in the truck, Zaria leaned over to me whispering.

“What the fuck is going on?”

“You will see soon enough. Maybe if you see this shit you will know he is not for you. He is not capable of love. That nigga don’t give a fuck about killing nobody. You of all people should know that first hand, but maybe if you see it shit will wake your ass up.” To the next person, I would sound like some hating ass nigga on some bullshit.

They don’t know and have not seen what I have. I’m looking out for my friend’s mental and I will kill anybody that gets in the way of his progress. Zaria is starting to look like that person more and more every day. This one is different though because he actually cares about her. If he has to kill her, there will be no coming back from this. I’ve been doing a good job keeping him away from women, she slipped in. Even still, I didn’t think it would go here. We pulled up to the stash house and me and Phantom got out of the truck. When the girls got ready to get out, I stopped them.

“Stay here, we will be right back.” They looked lost, but climbed back in. The rest of the crew already knew the drill and started getting his guns ready. He went in the room and changed his clothes. When he stepped back out, he was in all white and he had a scarf tied around his head.
