“You look beautiful.” Dave said and kissed my cheek when I walked in.

Dave and I met at work. He was a doctor in the emergency room and we always flirted with each other. Once I got with Arnold, I stopped and made sure he respected my relationship. Dave is sexy as hell too and kind of put me in the mind frame of Brian White. He’s the guy in charge of the Thetas, from Stomp the yard. He even had the muscles and swag too.

“Thank you. You don't look bad yourself.” He pointed to the seat for me to sit.

After the waitress took our order, he and I sat there talking about everything; except my relationship. That was off limits. You never discuss your dealings with someone who wants you. They prey off shit like that and if, Dave and I went any further than this date, I want it to be because of a clean slate. Plus, I don't need him comparing himself with Arnold. Men get in their feelings and wanna know why you did this or that with someone and not them. I don't have time for that.

“Well hello there.” I heard and turned around to see the Milly bitch, who picked Arnold up from my house. Dave spoke and I rolled my eyes. She stood there with some chick who looked familiar but I couldn't place her.

“You can't speak? I mean we do share a man.” I wanted to smack the shit out of her. I remained cool and smiled.

“Dave are you ready to go?” I wasn't about to sit here and entertain her.

“I'm not here to ruin this date or whatever this is. I just wanted to show you something.” She pulled her phone out and put it in my face. Just like all women who want someone else's man, she recorded her and Arnold having sex. I tried my hardest not to show an expression and I did well.

“Milly, is it.” She gave me a fake smile as I handed her phone back.

“Arnold and I, are no longer together. Therefore, the video means nothing to me. All it did was show you're desperate to keep a man who obviously don't wanna be kept. You think showing me this video will make me go crazy and run home or even call to inform him.” She rolled her eyes.

“See, we were done the moment you called his phone and relayed all that information. If you're showing me this, it's clear he didn't run to you, which is why you came to me. Honey, you can have him.” I waved her off and she tossed the glass of water on me. I hopped out my seat and Dave sat there shocked.

“I wish you would put your hands on her.” I heard and froze.

“You got lucky by tossing the water on her but if you think for one minute to even look at her wrong, I'll break your fucking neck.” I noticed the other chick with her walking away, as if she didn't want Arnold to see her.
