Chapter 15

So wiped out by the pleasure and relief from pain, Sophie’s resistance evaporated. She barely complained when Dr. Richards had guided her Daddy to insert a dose of liquid medicine into her rectum as well. Her bottom clenched around the small plug that he added to help her retain it.

Before leaving the office, she overheard the doctor and Neil talking. They developed a plan to help soothe her cramps. Dr. Richards changed the type of birth control she was taking and added several types of medication to be used starting a week before her period. The thorough doctor was also concerned about her bowels and believed that constipation contributed to her menstrual pain. Thus, he had prescribed the liquid medicine in her bottom.

Refusing to watch as the doctor loaded supplies into a bag for Neil, Sophie just enjoyed the relief from pain that her pleasure and the medical treatments had brought. This was definitely worth any embarrassment. She felt so much better.

Suddenly ashamed that she had not thanked the doctor, Sophie called his name. “Dr. Richards?” When he turned around with a smile, she continued. “I’m sorry I didn’t cooperate with everything. I do feel so much better. Thank you.”

The doctor walked to her side and held her hand. “You are very welcome, Little girl. That’s what I’m here for—to make the Littles comfortable and healthy.” He looked at her thoughtfully before adding, “Your Daddy and I are almost finished here, and he’ll take you home. I bet you could take a nap,” he suggested.

Turning, Dr. Richards opened the drawer and pulled out a wrapped adult-size pacifier. Pulling it open, he removed the paci and held it to her lips. When she resisted, he reminded her, “Why not try this? Everything else has helped you feel better today.” After a brief pause, Sophie opened her mouth and allowed him to slide it inside, and Dr. Richards patted her shoulder fondly.

She fell asleep almost immediately, only waking when her Daddy cleaned her carefully and wrapped her in a fresh diaper for the trip home. Cradled in his arms, Sophie missed meeting an older gentleman who assisted Neil by carrying the large bag of supplies out to the car. She also didn’t notice two women dressed in leggings and brightly colored T-shirts who colored at a big table in the waiting room. They had waved enthusiastically until signaled by the men that Sophie slept.
