“What you mean she was stabbed?” I asked Tasha. She’s the new chick I’ve been dealing with outside of Briana.

We met at the store when I was picking diapers up for my daughter, who was with me at the time. You know how chicks get when they see a man with a child. They get all googley eyes for the baby and ask questions. Questions like; are you still with the mother and I’ve never seen you before, you from around here?

“A few days ago, some woman named Sunshine stopped by Asher’s house and caught him cheating with his ex.”

“That doesn’t mean she was stabbed.” I said still wondering if it were true.

“Well, the ex, stabbed her and she almost died. If you don’t believe me, look on Talisha’s post. She said, the Booker sisters were all fucked up and got exactly what they deserved.” She showed me the post on Facebook and sure enough, its exactly what it said.

I heard about the situation with Shady and told Talisha so she could go up there and cause problems with Moony. Talisha was stuck on Rahsaan and he wanted nothing to do with her. I laughed my ass off when she mentioned Moony walking in on them. I tried to get more info outta her but she hung up and promised to contact me later and she never did. I wonder if she’s the reason Moony is hurt or getting what she deserved.

“How you know Talisha?” I questioned because I’ve never seen Tasha before the run in at the store.

“Oh, she went to the same high school as me.” I gave her a crazy look.

“We were bad and went to an alternative program. We kept in touch through social media.” She shrugged and snatched her phone back. I don’t know why she did that when we’re not a couple. I could care less if she with someone else.

“I’ll be back.”

“Where you going?” I stopped and looked at her.

“You’re not my girl so don’t ask questions. Just be ready to fuck when I get back.” She sucked her teeth but not one complaint left her mouth.

I walked to my car paying attention to my surroundings. I know Asher was looking for me because of putting hands on Sunny. I’m not sure if anyone else was looking or who he actually had looking. Then again, I’ve done quite a few things to people and its no telling who wants me outta here.

I tried to stay with Briana but after hearing shit, she wasn’t beat whatsoever. I barely get to see my daughter and when I do, it has to be late as hell at night so no one sees me going in and I can’t leave until the next night. She thinks she slick though because I’m a live-in babysitter on those days. It doesn’t matter since I’ll be gone soon. Its best to take as many photos and spend all the time I can with her now.

I parked at the hospital and picked my phone up to dial inside.
