âCome on, now.â I hauled Fiadora up against me. âEasy does it.â
She was an adorable drunk, but drunk she was, and not the easiest to maneuver without me manhandling her in my arms. It was a good thing sheâd actually done what I said and sat tight until I arrived at the Swirled Squirrel. Iâd practically driven like a madman to get there, and not just because I worried about her getting home safely.
But also because she wanted to kiss me again.
Holy shit, Fiadora wanted to kiss me, and I wasnât sure how much sheâd had to drink but I didnât want her to change her mind.
As it turned out, sheâd had quite a bit to drink. Victoria had apologized the moment I approached their table, with all four women giggling at my appearance.
The laughter kept coming, right along with the apologies. Grant was coming to get his sister and Esther, while Tori had a car and driver waiting to take her home.
Fiadora practically poured herself into my arms as I led her out to the truck. Getting her in it was a different story.
I knew I should drive her homeâ¦to her own home.
It was smarter.
Instead, I went to my place.
Her finger pressed against my lips and she giggled. âWhatâs the matter, Dom? Dom if youâre nasty.â She laughed again at her own joke. âIs it wrong that Iâm feeling a little nasty?â
âIt canât be wrong.â My cock surged at her words, at her scent. Cupcakes and flowers.
Dear God. Had a more perfect woman ever been created? I wondered as I helped her into the house.
No way was I letting her go home alone tonight, Iâd decided on the drive home. I didnât know how sheâd react to that much alcohol in her system and I didnât want her waking up sick and alone. Which left me little choice.
Please donât let her hate me in the morning.
She didnât seem too pissed about going back to my place. Not even when I managed to kick the door closed behind us, dragging her through the kitchen and toward the stairs.
âDominik!â she cried out. âWhere are we going?â
âWeâre going to bed,â I told her evenly.
And still, not the way I wanted us to go to bed. Iâd dreamed about getting this woman between the sheets but I wasnât the type of guy to take advantage of someone whoâd had too much to drink.
âMaybe youâre the one whoâs being nasty.â She lost her footing and almost tripped on the last step.
I struggled to keep a hold on her before deciding fuck it. One arm swooped beneath her legs and the next moment she was cradled against my chest, cooing.
The woman. Was. Cooing.
It took a lot to get me to come undone, but something about the throaty sounds coming out of her made me want to throw away the last of my control.
Take it easy, Dom.
Sheâd hate me in the morning if I went too far, and honestly, Iâd hate myself for it, too.
âHere we are.
