“Are you kidding me right now? See now I know something is wrong!” I fussed as I stared at the phone.

The past few days, he has been real funny acting and I can’t put my finger on it. We didn’t have an argument or anything like that. He has been telling me he is going to come and chill with me for the past few days, but he keeps pushing it back. He won’t even let me come to his house. Ever since his friends got arrested, he has been real weird the past week.

He also barely answers any text messages or phone calls. And when we do have a conversation it takes him a long time to even respond to the damn messages. He claims he is just busy with everything going on with his crew but I’m not buying it. Our vibe is off. Nah today he is going to have to give me an explanation and I mean it or I’m pulling the fuck up on his ass.

“Nothing is wrong Draya I told you I just have a lot going on with this street business right now. I would like nothing more than to lay up with you all day, but I have to get some things figured out.” he answered. Before I could respond, I couldn’t help but to hear a female voice in the background.

“I thought you were at home?”

“Yeah, I am at home.”

“Then who is there with you?”

“That’s just Princess. She stopped by to check on some shit.” He answered vaguely. I instantly frown up because I don’t too much care for this girl as it is.

“To check on some shit, huh?”

“Yeah, you already know what it is so don’t start tripping.”

“Oh, I am going to trip because you have barely talked to me the past few week! The first couple of days, I didn’t mind because I know how it gets when you get busy out there. I’m trying not to trip, but you have really been pushing me out and I want to know why. And don’t tell me you have been stressed out about business. Because I’ve seen you all on social media and I’ve even seen you guys going out for drinks, but yet you can’t give me any time? That’s dumb as hell!” I fussed. He sighed a long sigh before responding.

“You need to calm down you tripping right now. I told you it’s not like that. I just have a lot on my mind. I don’t know what else to tell you or how else to explain it to you. But listen, let me call you back, I have an important businessperson calling me on the other line.”

“Whatever Benz.” I said sucking my teeth and hanging up.

I shook my head and threw my cell phone down on my bed frustrated. I cannot figure out what’s going on or what I did, but I need to know now because the love that I have growing for him is starting to get strong.
