Breeze had me going from sun up to down. All I wanted to do was take my ass to bed. My job was killing me due to the holiday season. I was ready for something else now.

“Bitch, if I carry one more bag, it’s gone be an issue,” Nikki complained. Shit, I was feeling the same way right now. With all this shit going on and Breeze buying this big ass townhouse, we were always doing something.

“I’m telling you. And now we gotta carry this shit inside too. I’m about to toss every item, one by one,” Kimora chimed in. I had half the mind to do the same shit once we pulled up to the house.

We were a mess; my dreads were in a satin headband with a cute jumper and some slides. Since we had gotten our faces beat a few hours ago, we were all looking cute. It was the norm for us. As we got in the car, my baby was calling me.

“Hey, baby.” I smiled, mainly because his ass dicked me down good before I left the house.

“Sup, beautiful. Where y’all at?”

“Out here by Perimeter, but we’re on the way back to the house now.”

“Bet, tell them I said whud though.”

“Hey, bro,” they said in unison.

“I’ll be to the house later. You going to my spot or yours.”

“You know damn well she’s gone be at yo’ house,” Nikki chimed in which caused me to slap her leg with her rude ass.

“Aight. I’ll hit you in a minute.”

“I love you, baby.”

“I luh you too.” We hung up. With my head in the clouds and being in love with a wonderful man, I almost ran the damn light.

“Bitch, if you kill us, I’m gone beat yo’ ass,” Nikki rambled. I waved her ass off because I wasn’t about to play with her right now. I was thinking about what I wanted to cook my man for dinner tonight. I knew that he was coming home late since it was barely a time where he was home before two. This street life shit was taking a toll on him and sometimes, I tell him to breathe or get a few extra minutes of sleep just to enjoy life.

“I’m so sick of this shit with Cypher’s ass,” Nikki ranted as she replied to yet another text.

“I wish y’all get that shit together. That nigga love you and you love his ass too. Y’all both made mistakes and that’s cool because that lets you know you’re not perfect. I hope y’all get it together.” I sighed as I rubbed her arm.

“To be honest, babe, I do too. I love that nigga and I’m ready to put this shit behind us. We keep going through the motions and he ends up at my house at the end of the night. I don’t know what this dysfunctional shit is that we doing.”

“Y’all are dysfunctional though, boo. That works for y’all and you see we don’t pay y’all asses no mind. All of our shits are fucked up in some type of way.
