Chapter 25 – Pria

I find myself humming as I mix the salve for Ardan's swollen legs. I can't remember ever being so happy. Even though I know we only have this time of peace because the Grange fighters are in holding for the Battle Royale, if I just manage not to think about it, I can almost picture us as a normal couple. Once I even caught myself wondering what our child would look like. Don't dream, I remind myself. That's how I get into trouble. I have to just be happy for what I have now.

"Oh!" I exclaim, as I feel his arms slide around me. I rest my head on his chest and tilt it backward to look up into his eyes. "How is it that you are twice my size, and yet I never hear you come in?"

"Genetics, my love," he murmurs with a smile, kissing my neck and pressing his hips into me. I feel my stomach flip at his touch and my eyes close.

"You must have had a very good workout," I murmur, surprised, and quite pleased, by his amorousness.

"Excellent," he replies, nibbling on my ear.

"I'm trying to mix a salve for you," I protest half-heartedly, even as my knees go weak.

"Can it wait?" he asks.

"Absolutely," I answer. He immediately picks me up and carries me down the hallway toward his bedroom. There, I squeal as he tosses me onto the bed, where I bounce slightly. He bends over me hungrily, and a shiver runs through me at the look in his eyes as his hair drapes around his face. He wraps his hands around my thighs, then pulls me to the edge of the bed. His fingers slide under my shift and pull off my undergarments, and then he presses my shift up to my waist.

I gasp as he bends his head down. I have decided that Ardan has magic in his tongue, because I don't know how else he could elicit an orgasm out of me so quickly. He circles me quickly, knowing exactly how best to turn me on, and his fingers slide inside me. I squirm on the bed, my back arching off the bed, until I'm begging him for more.

He obliges, standing up and flipping me over with one quick movement of his arms. As he pushes his pants to the ground and kneels on the bed behind me, I pull my shift over my head. He grabs my hips and tugs them up into the air. I scream out with pleasure as he thrusts into me, pulling me apart even as he completes me.

My head dips, and I fall from my hands onto my elbows. He's so deep inside of me… I feel like we are one body even as we pull away and burst together again. Our cries begin to come at the same time, and my pleasure consumes me as he presses inside me harder and harder. My hands grip the bedclothes so that I can push back against him as much as possible.
