Suddenly he pulls me in his arms, enclosing me in his grasp, and the pain of my shoulder, and realisation of what is actually happening, pull me back to reality. This isn’t Kyle, this isn’t real. I’ve drunk too much at Kim’s and I’m passed out on her sofa. But then the pain strikes me again, that searing pain in my shoulder from when he grabbed me, and I realise, that just like a pinch on the arm, but a lot worse, that this isn’t a dream, this isn’t a nightmare. This is real.

He’s taking me further into the forest, I think, I am not sure what further is, because I still don’t know where I am, maybe he is bringing me home. I get engulfed by panic and fear again, not knowing what he is doing with me, not knowing where he is taking me. But I have a dreadful feeling this is the end.
