Mel knew the instant they walked in the door. The fine hairs all over her body stood on end, and the heat and lust in her body went haywire. Every day the desire racing through her body grew more intense, and although she looked forward to seeing them at meal times, she didn’t know how much more of this lust she could endure.

She wanted to feel their hands and mouths all over her body, but more importantly, she wanted them to love her. They hadn’t had much of a chance to talk because, other than coming to the main house to eat, they seemed to avoid her.

That thought sent pain ripping into her chest, and she sucked in a deep breath. Her heart thundered against her sternum, and if she hadn’t bit her tongue hard enough to draw blood, she would have ended up moaning.

She was sick and tired of keeping them at arm’s length and them doing the same to her, but she really had only herself to blame. She’d been the one to ask for space.

Her contradictory mind and body craved their presence, and she was having trouble sleeping through the night. She was tired, cranky, and so in over her head she felt as if she was going a little crazy. Every time she managed to sleep, her dreams were filled with erotic visions of them touching her, making love to her, and she always woke up covered in sweat and achingly empty. There was a hole in her heart that she’d never had before coming to work for the Reynolds Pack, and she knew, without a doubt, only Johnny, Kris, and Jules could fill it.

Thankfully it was Friday and dinnertime. She had the next two days off, but this weekend she was planning to stay put. Last weekend she’d taken both days to explore Broken Hill and the surrounding area but not this time. If she had any say in it, and she did, she was going to spend the weekend in bed, but definitely not alone.

She was so consumed with desire for them she couldn’t think straight. Mel was only vaguely aware of the room emptying after the pack members had eaten their fill as she cleaned up. She was so lost in her own thoughts and conundrums she didn’t notice that Johnny, Kris, and Jules were the only people left in the room until hard, warm muscular arms wrapped around her waist.

“Are you all right, sweetheart?” Johnny’s warm breath tickled against the skin of her ear, causing her to shiver as her lust for him and his brothers went soaring through the roof.

She shook her head in answer, and when Johnny turned her around to face him, she met his concerned blue eyes.

“You look exhausted,” Kris said as he came to stand next to Johnny. Jules moved to Johnny’s other side.

Mel nodded, and then she leaned her forehead on his chest.

“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Jules stroked a hand over her head and hair.
