I was trying my hardest to not be upset with Amani, but she was making me so angry. It was like night and day with Amani and Lonzo Jr. My precious baby boy adored me and loved the ground I walked on. But Amani and I did not have that same connection. I could feel it in my heart.

I didn’t understand how she felt that there was somebody that could be a better mother than I could when her stripper ass mother had never done anything for her! And Lonzo did not make anything better by taking my child around that whore. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do but I knew I had to get rid of Reign once and for all.

“Good afternoon Mrs. Prince, are you getting the usual today?” Sarah greeted me, as I entered the salon I frequented.

“Yes Sarah, I would like a full manicure and pedicure I also need my eyebrows waxed today as well.”

Alonzo had indeed wired me some money for me to get pampered and, of course, I was going to do just that.

“Okay, good. I’m getting everything set up for you now. Would you like a glass of wine as well?”

“Yes please! I definitely need me a glass of wine!”

After getting settled in the pedicure chair and placing my feet in the really warm water, I took a sip of the wine that was provided. Days like this, I wished that I had made better decisions with picking the man who became my husband. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my husband. I had always loved Lonzo, but he was predictable and boring.

I always knew when he was cheating and when he was not. He was so typical to the point it was sad. Lonzo just wanted to work come home, have a drink, then possibly spend time with the kids and I if he was in the mood. Over the last 4 years, I could count on my hands how many times we had real dates and when truly I felt loved by my husband.

Lonzo moved like a man that was just present because he had to be. He was miserable as fuck and so was I. I would have actually divorced him years ago if it was not for my parents. They believed marriage was permanent and always was worried about their colleagues’ perceptions of us as a family. To Lonzo, I could not live without him but a lot of our life was me playing my part. Little did he know, I had me a piece of peace that I was enjoying quite well.

“Mrs. Prince what would you like today?”

“I think that I would like to try white toes today instead of my normal pink.”

“Cool. White is definitely pretty on the toes and what about your nails?”

“I’m thinking I should go bold. Let’s try red nails!”

“Oh, you are definitely going bold today! No worries, I got you. Go ahead and sit back and relax. I’ll have Tammy refill that wine shortly.
