Chiapas, Mexico in the dense forest the humming of a generator could be heard in the distance. Standing on the balcony in an old colonial town stood the wealthiest grower and distributor of marijuana. Behind is Oakley shades lean build stood a man that had seen a lot; from being left behind in America by his mother, having a close support friends and losing two of them to tragedy that changed his course in life. Upon the tragic day Jason took his money and left settling in Mexico started a family and built an empire quietly and carefully. Greed and anger made him stay around longer than he should have. Now cartels wanted his business and in the tragic drug war he had only 1 child left and a wife who could never forgive him for the life he should have never gone into. Now it has come to an end like any other movie with the head of an organization dying a horrific death. His remaining family now safe wherever they are, brought him relief but sad because he may never see them again. Jason walked through the house to the backyard looking through the ashes of burnt photos and documents making sure there was nothing left to lead anyone to where his family may have gone. His employees had been paid well enough to disappear with their families and now he was completely alone. As he walked back inside, he noticed the sound of the generator in the distance had stopped as the backup began to start. He had 45 minutes before he would be over run and killed by his competitors. Leaving the door cracked open, he proceeds to the vault that held better than 500 million in cash along with a hefty amount of marijuana. “I miss you man” thinking of his friend Ben who shared all he had with his friends and died trying to make a life for his love. “I can do no less for my family.” Walking through the house remembering the good times when the house was filled with life and love. Next to the back door he picks up his hiking bag with camelbak for the long journey through the jungle. As he walked down the path to the woods, he resisted looking back one final time telling himself to keep going. Pausing for a second taking a deep breath hopeful to see his wife and child again then proceeded to disappear into the jungle.
