The party was in full fledge mode when Faith finally arrived.

Echo saw to it that not only her gear was fashionable and in style, but that she was given fifty thousand dollars to start a new life. If Echo had money it meant her friends had too and that was the bottom line.

Two hours into the celebration and Faith, Kari and even Taja, were drunk and throwing ones and five dollars over the women as if they fucked bitches. Six disappeared about an hour before with a cute little chocolate girl with a fat ass.

Echo was another story.

After Mariah pleaded with Echo for fifteen minutes, she agreed to allow Mariah and Nasir to chill. His men were thrown out on the streets. She hoped at the very least that would cause Nasir to leave, but he acted like he could care less either way.

All night she tried to enjoy herself but her attention was occupied on what Mariah and Nasir were doing. Something didn’t feel right and when she thought about it more she believed that her feelings were involved. She would have to get over it. They were married and the way Mariah was talking she appeared to be happy.

Needing a bit of fresh air Echo walked toward a side door, stealing the attention from all of the strippers on the dance floor due to her cold body and boss personality. When her men tried to follow she stopped them abruptly before walking out the door.

Mariah, seeing this, rushed behind her.

Catching up with her on the side of the building, Mariah grabbed Echo by the hand. Echo pressed her against the side of the brick wall, grabbed a fistful of her hair and yanked it sideways before gazing into her eyes.

Despite being in pain Mariah didn’t pull away.

For ten seconds the women who, before this moment weren’t on speaking terms, were kissing passionately. “You want to play this game? Where we fuck behind your husband’s back?” she paused and snaked her fingers under Mariah’s dress and into her panties. “If you do you’ll be my little secret. Is that what you want?”

Mariah hearing her own words felt gut punched. “Echo, I’m…confused.”

“You’re not confused, Mariah. You’re gay.” She laughed. “I’ll play the game but on my terms.” She paused. “Now get out of my face.”

Mariah straightened herself up and eased back inside the club.

Echo walked toward the limo and without saying goodbye to the rest of her friends, she ordered the driver to pull off.
