Create a Clock Face Movie Clip Symbol

2. From the application menu, choose Modify > Convert to Symbol to open the Convert to Symbol dialog box.

3. Create a Movie Clip symbol and name it ClockFace.

Before you edit the ClockFace symbol, you need to provide the instance you now have on the Stage with an instance name just as you did with the dynamic text block.

4. Select the instance on the Stage and locate the Instance Name field in the Properties panel. Click in the empty input field and type the instance name clockFace (Figure 6.18).
