How do you rate media files?

You can apply a rating to a file in Windows Media Player. You can then sort files by rating. The program uses a five-star rating system, with five stars being the highest rating. To rate a file in Windows Media Player, simply locate it in the File list and click the star in the Rating column that represents the rating you want to apply. For example, to give the file a two-star rating, click the second star. If no rating column is shown, right-click the file you want to rate, click Rate in the menu that appears, and then click the appropriate star.
