CHAPTER 15- JUICY

Walking in the door, I was tired as hell. My mom been sick and even though there is nothing directly wrong, I sense there is something going on with Face. He came home the other day and he didn’t want to have sex, he just held me. I tried to get him to open up, but he wouldn’t talk about it. This was the worse I had ever seen him since Blaze died. The nigga was looking like shit and I had no idea what to do or say. I knew if I pushed him to tell me, it would only turn him away. As I thought about what I could do, I looked up and I wondered what the fuck was going on. There was a note attached to the front door. Opening it, I walked in, closed the door, and started to read it.

“The first place you stole my heart, open the closet that’s where you will start.” Oh my God, I love scavenger hunts. I took off running to the bedroom. That was the first place he told me he loved me. When I walked in, I opened the closet door. There was a silver cocktail dress and a pair of silver red bottoms hanging on the back of the door. I looked at the price tag and it said two thousand dollars. Vera Wang was out of her mind, but it was so pretty. It dipped down all the way to the waist, it was fitted around my ass area, and then it flared out at the bottom. Grabbing it off the hook, I saw it was another piece of paper taped to the door.

“I stay to your left because everything about you is right. In this drawer, my love for you will shine bright.” I walked over to the dresser and opened the right one. There was a big velvet container. I opened it and a diamond necklace and bracelet sat there blinding the fuck out of me. The entire necklace and bracelet was diamonds. Tears ran down my face as I rubbed my fingers across it. Guessing that was the end of the hunt, I took my clothes off and walked in the bathroom and got in the shower. After getting my hygiene together, I dried off and noticed it was another paper taped to the bathroom wall.

“In the room you hardly use you will find, a key to my heart, soul, and mind.” Rubbing myself down, I hurried up and got dressed. Once I slid my shoes on, I ran downstairs to the kitchen. I knew how to cook, but I didn’t do it often because he was hardly here. He would always grab something before he came home. He probably thinks I don’t know how. Walking around the kitchen, I looked for a key. When I opened the first drawer, a car key was laying inside. Before I headed out, I ran back upstairs and got my red clutch. I dropped my ID, phone, and debit cards inside.
