PART 2

Doe Young

WHAT’S DONE IN THE DARK…

Did she just say… I know she didn’t… oh, hell nah! My ears had to be playing tricks on me because I know little miss hoe Porsha ain’t just say that Premier was Mooch’s father. I had to be having a mild hallucination or something. I tilted my head to the side and threw a hand on my hip, leaning all my weight to the left of me ‘cause this nigga wasn’t right.

See, I told Prissy this shit from the beginning, but she didn’t want to listen to me. I had radar for bullshit ass niggas like him. When I said I didn’t trust him and that I felt like he wasn’t real, that wasn’t me trying to make her feel a way or to down her man… that shit was facts! He’d just proven me right.

I looked between the two of them as she smirked his way snidely, and he looked as if he was about to pass out. I could tell he wasn’t trying to make eye contact with me. He stared directly at my attending who was oblivious to what had just happened.

“Casper!” I called out to him since he was turning white, and that was also what his ass was about to be once I told my best friend on him–ghost, finito, a distant ass memory. “So, you’ve been stowing away a whole baby, huh? Interesting.”

I rubbed on my chin how the niggas did when they were thinking really hard while I nodded my head as to say okay, I see you. I was trying to be calm about it, but I really wanted to jump on Porsha for being messy as fuck and then knock the shit out of his trifling ass sister since she knew the entire time—years to be exact—and finally, I wanted to… well, I didn’t want to do anything to Premier. I was going to save it all for my bestie because I knew she’d handle it in the worst way possible.

Finally turning to me, he started to explain. “It’s not how you think, Doe. I can explain but just give me a minute to talk to you. Don’t run to Prissy, I want to tell—”

“Nigga, you lying,” I spat, throwing my hand up to stop him while making my attending gasp in shock.

I honestly had forgotten where I was for a moment. I wasn’t about to get myself in trouble for him nor his weak ass baby mother, so I decided it would be best if I leave. I pulled my attending to the side and let her know what was going on.

“This is a conflict of interest right now. I know them, and he’s my friend’s boyfriend. We knew nothing of him having a child, so you can see that this is an awkward situation. I can handle it, but I’m going to be honest.. if anything is said disrespectfully, I may lose my job, and I don’t want that.”

She looked taken aback and a little flustered due to the situation.
