EXERCISE: AFFIRMATION

You will need a pencil and a piece of paper or, if you would like, some colored paper, markers, and decorations such as stickers, glitter, and so on, depending on the flow of your creative juices.

Read through the following list of sayings and affirmations. When you get to one and find yourself nodding your head in agreement or making a hmmm noise, put a mark next to the saying. Write that saying on the piece of paper. Make a list of your favorite sayings.

Decorate the list if you’d like, or make several copies of certain affirmations to post.

This can be fun. Make a bookmark with some sayings on it, or make a card for someone with one of the affirmations.
