Morning, Again

I swim up to the surface of sleep with the awareness of a slight weight on top of me. The weight is sweet and soft. Bare skin, the low sound of a moan, hands in my thick and heavy hair.

"Good morning," a beloved voice whispers a moment before teeth sink into the side of my neck. My consciousness may be only semi aware, but my body knows perfectly well where it is and what it wants. I caress Sinclair's waist with both hands, my fingers wandering down to squeeze the lean curves of her butt.

"Hey." I grip handfuls of her soft flesh and she laughs into my throat, a huff of warm breath. "You're up and in a very...excited mood," I murmur.

Beautifully naked, she's moving on top of me in a subtle and slow wave. She tongues the side of my neck. "With you, I’m always excited." Soft bites and licks tease my throat and I wake up just enough. My thighs fall open to receive whatever she’s in the mood to give me.

Grand Market ended with us sitting on the front steps of our house, watching the hints of pink spread across the sky although we were both too tired to do anything more than hold hands and lean into each other in pleasant exhaustion. It's a miracle we made it to the bed.

We love each other. That's it.

Like Ebony reminded me, what Sinclair and I have is wonderful. Just about perfect. We've squabbled about food and where to put the laundry basket and whether or not to have a TV in the bedroom, but those are all minor things. Barely a blip on the radar of our lives as a couple. The only real issue that came up was when I opened my big mouth and asked Sinclair to marry me. I created a problem where there was none.

That was and is my fault.

"Why are you so beautiful?" Sinclair asks softly, rising up from her feast on my throat to look down at me. Her brown eyes are luminous in the morning sunlight with no trace of the clouds that were there last night.

"Because you think so?" I open my thighs even more and she slips between them. The movement of her furred sex against mine drags a moan out of me.

"Ah." A smile curves up the corners of her mouth and her tantalizing waves continue between my legs, pressing into me, dripping desire from me.

Then she leans down and offers me kisses. Softly on the corners of my lips, and my eyes can only flutter shut to savor the sensation, kisses like butterfly wings, her hands in my hair, her sensual movements stirring up more of my desire.

Merry fucking Christmas.

Her tongue traces the seam of my lips, moist and delicate, and it's only surprise that makes me surrender to her kiss, opening my mouth for her. Immediately, she takes what she wants, licking deep into my mouth with a shocking morning hunger. My hips buck and a moan splits me in two, vibrates my chest.
